Graham on the FBI: 'None of us righties trust these people anymore'

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said on Sunday that conservatives don’t trust the FBI anymore when asked about his remarks from 2017, pushing for President-elect Trump to select an FBI director who was “beyond reproach.”

“He has a duty and obligation to pick somebody beyond reproach outside the political lane. I think he’ll do that. I hope he’ll do that. I would encourage the president to pick somebody we can all rally around, including those who work in the FBI,” Graham said in a 2017 interview.

Asked in an interview on NBC News’s “Meet the Press” whether Trump’s current pick to lead the FBI, Kash Patel, is “beyond reproach,” Graham said he was “talking about what he should do the last time.”

“Look, what’s happened since the last time. The FBI, in the eyes of conservatives, has become sort of a very biased organization,” Graham continued, mentioning concerns that law enforcement suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story and the Steele Dossier.

Lets not forget that Trump made the AG convene two grand juries in an attempt to have Andrew McCabe charged criminally over an internal FBI investigation. Numerous individuals such as McCabe and Comey were audited by the IRS every year(not possible to be random chance). The media wont even mention this.

10. The FBI is not a Democrat-leaning or Liberal Organization

I'm ex-DEA (Investigator). I went through Quantico and socialized with FBI special agent candidates at the FBI Academy on a frequent basis during my time at Quantico. Both DEA and FBI are quite conservative. Multiple DEA offices were openly supportive of Trump. Graham's entire premise is just laughable.

Patel lost sight of reproach in his rear view mirror a long time ago; he simply can't see that far. He's to busy surveying his enemies list and licking his lips over who to persecute first.
Patel's in the "you can't be serious about putting this walking pile of shit in charge of the FBI can you?" territory.
And yet Lindsey will vote to confirm his nomination. Lindsey talks like he is his own man, but Trump owns him; no way he'd cross Trump.
But there is one thing Graham should know. Trump ain't ever gonna give him his balls back.
