...to prepare for urban warfare.

That is why they are over populated areas, imo.

If it is still going on when Trump is sworn in, it could give him the excuse to call out the military or the National Guard.

if they are "adversarial" they would not use lights

if they are aliens i need a lot more evidence.

there is a post up that elon's brother owns a "drone entertainment" company.

wouldn't the inauguration be a great marketing opportunity for him?

Of the Faux news you tubes about it. The fake outrage of the officials was almost ludicrous. The comments were pretty telling. The conspiracy theories were rampant. The truth and reality is that these people are chickens, that never look up at the night sky, so they don’t know just how often one of these is over head or what is up there all the time.

Only other thing might be domestic terrorists, we have people here who have too many military grade toys and would definitely use them to help the don.

If it's ever flown, we have people in the building who've either flown it, built it, worked on it, or designed parts of it. We have technology on every major aircraft in the skies right now and we're on drones of all shapes and sizes all over the world. We have an entire business segment working drone technology.

While I haven't seen every bit of film out there and even if I did I wouldn't claim to be an expert, what I can tell you is that the people I work with who would absolutely know things are laughing at all of this. There is nothing very odd about this to them. It's almost entirely people misidentifying regular aircraft as drones. seeing regular drones and mistaking them for being bigger or further away than they are, and other people just being plain fools. And yes, this includes some members of the military who are misidentifying things.

It's kind of becoming a running joke around the office to make light of these drones. If that changes, I'll post it here.

I mean, in my inner circle I've got guys who helped design the guidance system for the space shuttle, guys who've flown F35s, A-10 Warthogs, every commercial airliner ever built, KC-46 tankers, P-8s, and everything in between. Got a guy who has built his own airplane that he now flies on the weekends. My mentor worked at black sites for the NSA on satellite technology. If any of these guys utters, "Well, that is actually pretty weird..." I will actually raise an eyebrow.

It's a distraction that will be used by Republicans to push through more extreme agenda items and nominees while the public's imagination is busy running wild with Close Encounters of the Third Kind or spy wars nonsense.
