Smoking the hopium time...

You know the term "going postal"? I certainly do, and some or many of you are old enough to remember the origin of that saying.

Back in the 80s, there seemed to be a spate of mass shootings at post offices around the country; IIRC, it was a disgruntled postal worker who felt pushed over the edge to go on a murder/suicide attack. Over time, measures were taken to nip things in the bud to where you don't hear about massacres in the USPS.

My HOPE is that we can do likewise and get to a point where school shootings are no longer a matter-of-time occurrence. Unfortunately, the frequency seems far greater than the postal incidents.

shootings which have already taken place, by a wiiiiiiiiide margin. So if that were to be the example to draw hope from, wouldn't we expect some action already?
