Russian miliary losses-tanks

Putin has destroyed a large amount of his military and now is running out of tanks and other heavy equipment. Many of the remaining tanks in the Russian arsenal have no turrets

UK intelligence reports that Russia has lost over 3,600 Main Battle Tanks and nearly 8,000 armored vehicles since February 2022, indicating significant vulnerabilities in its military capabilities. Despite these losses, Russian forces have advanced near Pokrovsk, a strategic location in Donetsk Oblast.

The reliance on outdated Soviet-era equipment is increasing as Russia depletes its modern armored reserves. Recent gains near Pokrovsk, including the capture of the village of Shevchenko, suggest that Russia may continue to push forward despite heavy losses. #military

Russian military equipment losses in Ukraine continue to increase. Russia has lost over 3,600 Main Battle Tanks and nearly 8,000 armored vehicles since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.

This situation underscores both the intense scale of the Russo-Ukrainian War and Russia’s diminishing ability to sustain modern mechanized warfare, potentially shaping the future trajectory of the war if the war continues.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, this has led to a reliance on outdated and poorly maintained Soviet-era equipment from strategic storage depots. Armored equipment is being hauled out of storage, upgraded where possible and sent to the frontline.

Lately, Putin has been having to use WW II tanks

Russia is deploying even more ancient T-54 tanks. The prototype of this tank has been developed in 1945. It is another obvious indicator that Russia is running out of hardware and diving deeper into its storages.
