What are you dreading the most about Trump 2.0?

Curious about what other people are dreading the most about Trump's return to the Presidency on January 20th.

For me, right from day one it's going to be his inauguration. Seeing images of Biden, Harris, Obama, the Clintons, etc having to sit and watch this criminal take the oath of office after refusing to allow a peaceful transfer of power 4 years ago is pure nightmare fuel.

From then on it's going to be dealing with having to see Trump's ugly face whenever there's a crisis that requires presidential leadership. And to hear his awful voice.

The hardest thing is seeing the psycho who killed my father put back in power. The anxiety of knowing I have to be tortured all over again because this country is full of crazy people who voted for this, and it has an ineffective justice system which won't hold him accountable ever, and which also does not have any real protections put in place to stop something like this from happening in the first place.

I stopped watching news for the most part, and if I am and he comes on I change the channel or turn off the sound until he goes away.

There is plenty more.

and Medicare.

I don’t want to end up in a homeless shelter! But I also just don't worry about myself! Others will also be affected that way or similar including people on SSD, and SSI.

But really...just about, if not all of it!
Further than that all our other vunerable groups: Black, and other POCS, women in their child-bearing years, women in general if they threaten the 19th Amendment, deporations.

Anti-Science, and dropping climate change mitigation.

Letting Putin have 1/3 of Ukraine. Let Bibi continue to run amok. Possibly starting some war, somewhere.

Biden, Clinton, Harris, Obama, sit there while Trump speaks.

They all must be heart broken with what the country has done, electing Trump.

I don't care if Trump says something mean or stupid on Truth Social. I don't care if Melania wears a jacket with dumb writing on it. I don't care if Rachel Maddow gets a couple of pages of his tax return showing he paid nothing. I don't want 4 more years of breathless reporting that he's devastated because someone tweeted about him.

All of that is a distraction from the more concrete harms. But the media spent 4 years focusing on the nonsense and it drove me bonkers.

It's going to be a fucking nightmare. Neo-Nazis in charge of the border. Anti-vaxxers in charge of public health. Conspiracy theorists in charge of intelligence. Fox News hosts in charge of the interior. Billionaire capitalists in charge of the treasury. Christian nationalists in charge of education. It's going to be a truly massive shit show.

The pretending dishwashers don't work or drugs are flowing into the US from Canada or whales are flying into windmills or North Korea is really impressed by Trump or . . . It is non- stop, goes nowhere and replaces actual discourse.

No drama Biden and Obama holy crap will I miss that. Trump is the least interesting person ever and yet the media will cover his every daily bowel movement as is they were the ten commandments. 🙄
