You and I both know these Senators have to be FUCK ALL FURIOUS that

they had to wait till Friday before Christmas to get this shit done...
Flights out canceled/rescheduled,
Early-start holiday glad-handing parties postponed,
District Stuff Conversations are now all sideways when they get there,
Mistress Whippings have to be no-showed (NEVER a good look),
ETC.

was making a law that this should never happen at holiday time. Get shit done at least ten days before any holiday. Period!
