Just a random thought.

If you have to put the word "prestigious" in front of the award, or the term "Christian" before your name, the award probably isn't, and you are probably not.

That is all.

I seethe every time the "Christian Nationalists" make claims that actually are a complete contradiction to Jesus's teachings. They defame Christ, who would have us welcome the immigrants and strangers, tend the sick, visit those in prison, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, and do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.
.
But most people think the ugly, power-tripping, judgmental "Christian Nationalists" are what Christ is all about. They're the descendants of the people described in The Scarlet Letter and The Crucible, and the people who burned or drowned "witches."

Growing up, that's what I thought all Christians were like. But I found my way into a Christian community of love, joy, service, and humility, and at some point I had to lay down my prejudice and start exploring. 35 years later, I'm still here, trying to do my bit to do unto others with the love I've received.

Nothing grieves me more than those Christian Nationalists standing in the way of others finding their way into a loving community of those trying their best to share the love they've received with everyone they come in contact with.
