just to deliver all the Christmas Cards that were sent around Christmas.
Those days are over. Every year the Christmas Cards I receive are getting sparser and sparser. I just got 10 this year. I used to get close to 100.
Too expensive now. Card prices are up and so are postage stamps.
I've made a decision only to send e-cards and only to people that sent me a card.
With the money I save on cards and postage - I make a donation to a charity.

(38,598 posts)We used to get deluged with catalogs between October & New Years & now I can count the number on two hands. The new giant grocery store down the street doesn't have a magazine section anymore, although mags got so expensive I hardly bought them anymore. The online versions just don't cut it though. Same with the catalog companies. Going to their site & clicking randomly isn't the same as flipping through a catalog. Online greeting cards, however, are quite fun!

(30,633 posts)They come in handy if you need a card. I also have a box of cheap birthday cards that I bought years ago.
For an upgrade, they have some Hallmark cards on Target's website for $3.00 a box
