Who will NOT be attending the inauguration ceremony of Trump next month? Are members of Congress required to attend?

Are members of the U.S. Supreme Court required to attend?

Just wondering. I'm not watching any of it to prevent projectile vomiting. And I'm old so I might have a heart attack (also I must control my high b.p.).

are the incoming president and the federal judge who will swear him/her in.

As a historical footnote, LBJ was sworn in on AF-One. He held it off until Jackie was on board.

I hope somebody moons his processional as he leaves the Capitol for the White House.

Can people "picket" the WH with protest signs outside the White House? Or on the parade route?

Many presidents have walked from the WH to the Capitol, one was JFK, another was Jimmy Carter.

You can also protest right in front of the Ceremony, but there will be a LOT of eyes on you.
Naturally, you'll make your point, but with two attempts on T****, you would most likely be hustled away I would say that the few (compared to previous Innaugurals) will be MAGATs spoiling for a confrontation. I wouldn't give the clown grace of my presence.

I hope to take a very long "sanity" hike with my pup (her osteoarthritis and weather-permitting) and then watch whoever is playing in the College Football National Championship later in the afternoon--whether my team is in it or not. Other than that, I will have all TVs off for the day.

I admittedly found his "that's some weird shit" comment rather humorous.

As Obama said at the DNC " We've already seen this
movie and the sequel is usually worse".

Ironically, Monday is the day ION binges "Criminal Minds"
and after that "FBI".

Just to see who does show up.

I'll tune out a minute or so prior to the actual event, my brain is scarred enough.

I'm willing to bet that less than the population of DC shows up. He'll probably charge an "Entrance Fee", not to mention all of the jerks hawking unimaginable crap while waiting to get through the metal detector, pat-downs, and whatever else the Feds set up to protect this pig-in-a-blanket.
