https://www.msn.com/en-in/technology/tech-companies/elon-musk-s-1-billion-offer-to-wikipedia-still-stands/ar-AA1wtLf1Elon Musk claims that Wikipedia's $1 billion offer still stands. Elon Musk's outlandish plan to pay $1 billion to rename Wikipedia is still on the table. In response to a post that said, "Wikipedia is not for sale," Musk made the offer, adding that it would be in effect for at least a year.
Musk responded that the offer is still valid after Doge Designer, who frequently receives Musk's responses on X, recently shared the post's contents.
According to the Doge Designer post, Elon Musk once offered Wikipedia $1 billion to change their name to Dickipedia. Musk quickly replied that its true and the offer was still valid. It's unclear if Musk's offer will be accepted by Wikipedia. The offer itself, which was made available in October of last year, has drawn a lot of attention, though.
According to Musk's initial post:
Last year, Musk shared a photo with the caption "Wikipedia is not for sale." Musk criticised it, saying, "Have you ever wondered why the Wikimedia Foundation wants so much money?" It is certainly not required to operate Wikipedia. You can literally fit the entire text onto your phone! So, what is the money for? Enquiring minds want to know.
Then, in a separate post, he said, "I will give them a billion dollars if they change their name to Dickipedia," adding that he would do so "in the interests of accuracy."

the Texas Institute of Technology and Science". When someone pointed out it would be better to switch it to "Science and Technology" so that it wouldn't spell "TITS" he refused and said he liked it that way. He has a 7th grader's sense of humor.

Happy to see they told him to go fuck himself.

(2,464 posts)7. Not to give him any ideas, but why doesn't here start his own MAGA version of Wikipedia?
It would be useless to any sane people except perhaps as entertainment, but the MAGAs would love it. They don't believe in objective reality anyway, so they would have a website that supported their false views on everything.

Big Bro needs 10,000 clones to re-write world history, and so-called factual knowledge, and shit like that.
