for health insurance is, was, and always has been NO plan. Nothing, nada, zilch.

not even the 'concepts of a plan.'

Fact is if it weren't for liberals, Democrats, and liberal concepts, half of Trump's deplorables would be living in dire straits INDEED.

But shhh.. don't tell em. they think they're owning US.

Those states didn't expand Medicaid, which means fewer people can be covered under Medicaid in those states, which means if people want health insurance, they have to get it through some other alternative (which almost always means through their employer or Obamacare now for those not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare).

12. Nope, everyone can still sign up for an Obamacare policy regardless, but those states that did not expand Medicaid...

...make it more difficult for their citizens to do so since it means more people are caught in the "health care limbo known as a “coverage gap.” That means they earn too much money to receive Medicaid but not enough to qualify for financial help to purchase their own plan on the marketplace" (https://stateline.org/2024/07/19/in-the-10-states-that-didnt-expand-medicaid-1-6m-cant-afford-health-insurance/).

So, these people have to either pay more for health insurance than they would if they were in a state that expanded Medicaid or they have to go without...
