Watched "It's A Wonderful Life". The paralells to today are eerie,

and sad. A prescient story. But in 1946, morality and goodness and community prevaled. The Oligarchal greedy Kleptocrat is Mr. Potter. Today he is Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, The Walton family, and private equity Barons.

I hadn't seen the movie in many decades. It was like watching it for the first time. Gobsmacking!
