2. True. Even Nuns rap the knuckles of loudmouth, disobedient, braggadocio children ...

... with wooden rulers. Here, some stinking criminal piece of shit rapes women, commits treason, incites a treasonous insurrection and a violent attack on the Capitol and is convicted by a jury of 34 Felony Crimes which convictions involve lengthy prison sentences -- and all the "punishment" which this convicted criminal asshole gets is some kind of "stern" talking to by the Judge. I punish my dog worse than that for barking too loud with a similar "stern" talking to -- the difference, of course, is that my dog learns from that "stern" talking to "punishment."

3. I hope you weren't expecting prison today. Judge had already told him not to pack a toothbrush.

Judge had already made public that prison time would not be handed down today.

Justice has not been en illusory goal. It is a myth. Women, minorities and other powerless people have known this our whole life.

4. Judge Georg Neithardt was very lenient with Hitler

Hitler was lucky to get Judge Georg Neithardt on two cases. Neithardt was a bit lenient after a conviction for stirring up a riot in 1921 - Hitler got three months of which he served one. His conviction for the Beer Hall Putsch was for high treason. For that Neithardt sentenced hm to only five years in prison and later the sentence was reduced to nine months. It was probably the best Neithardt could do for Hitler. Of course Hitler was not the Chancellor-of-Germany-elect so did not yet have an overwhelming national presence and had to face some consequences. Neithardt let Hitler and his co-defendants get away with egregious court room behavior and did all kinds of favors as far as presentation of evidence, witnesses, etc.

See any similarities to more recent events?

5. Yes, Hitler went to prison, but that was back when he was still a nobody.

He never faced any consequences for what he did to the Jews or the havoc he wreaked all over Europe, unless you consider his suicide to be self-administered capital punishment. (Which I don't, because he killed himself to avoid the punishment he knew the Russians were going to administer to him when they reached Berlin.)

Trump was born a rich, arrogant pos, so he was insulated from consequences from the get go. I'm sure he did plenty of things that were deserving of jail time long before he ran for potus, but he has lived his entire life safely wrapped in a protective cocoon of money.(
