An old friend lost his house in the Altadena fire

He and his wife got out with their cats and that is about it.
He has a remarkable attitude about being afforded a fresh start. I can do nothing but feel awful this happened to them.

It's not just movie stars losing their homes!

And his wife have lost their home and belongings. Very happy that they escaped unharmed. It would take a very special kind of person to have a good attitude and look at this as a fresh start. I’m thinking your friend is a very special person.

who was evacuated twice in the 2 huge San Diego fires in 2003 and 2007. I haven't heard from her in years but yesterday she called me out of the blue. I have been reliving the disasters and I suppose I'm communicating to her somehow. Cool coincidence anyway.
