And even some intelligent people are allowing the felon's obvious attempts to distract to be their focus.

what you believe are the distractions, and what they are intended to distract us from.

One problem is that for every single thing this guy says, someone will argue that it's a distraction from something else. So it's a big meaningless circle jerk and it doesn't solve the problem of "What are we supposed to pay attention to?" if we are always supposed to be engaged? That implies we should pay attention to everything he says and--as we have been told umpteen times--take it seriously.

I spent the last hour listening to one of my favorite talk show hosts play clips of Trump and other idiots, between bursts of reminding us to be angry and engaged... Meanwhile, he sounds close to a nervous breakdown, or maybe he's vaping, or just burnt out. Like he's not quite speaking into the microphone.

And in two hours another guy will come on and yell about how we need to fight, without ever giving an example, and he also sounds close to cracking up. A few weeks ago he said defending democracy might require his listeners to sacrifice their lives. Everything is getting too tightly wound.

It's requiring tremendous self-restraint not to start calling bullshit on some people. They are good people, though. I guess that is why I don't.

They are neither serious nor credible.

I see headlines from them posted and in almost all instances ignore them.

And I am not a masochist either. I've gotten off of Mr Toad's Wild Ride. It makes me puke non-stop and is 100% terrible for my personal health.
