in the National Cathedral for Pres. Carter's funeral. Sometimes words (or lyrics) have dual meanings and they are not always something to get bent out of shape about.

Still, if I had my druthers about any use of "God" in what Merchan ended with, it might have been "may God have mercy on your soul!"
