In 2017, one of the first things newly-elected President Trump did was saving the failing company Carrier, to stop them from outsourcing a factory to a foreign country with cheaper production.

The corporate media dutifully played it up.

Then a few months later Carrier killed those jobs anyways and outsourced them anyways. But, just like in russian media, nobody in US coporate media cared about the aftermath because the President had already had his BIG moment and some company outsourcing jobs is simply not newsworthy.





Expect the same.

Some company will move a factory and a few hundred jobs to the US. Paid for with taxpayer-money.

The corporate media will dutifully play it up.

And then no follow up on how things are actually going at that new plant in the US.

A single factory opening with a few hundred jobs means that REPUBLICANS have won the trade-war and you DEMOCRATS need to shut up and never talk about this awesome victory ever again.
