Will the stock market stabilize Monday or will it continue to drop?

How much will it lose or gain?

Republicans will probably be in no hurry to go against their Leader? So they will probably give him as much time as he asks for?

But the pressure is intense to get something done about the tariffs.

The chaos and uncertainty in the markets is a problem for the entire industrialized world.

There are 18 trading days left in the month. That alone would be another 18,000 points or more. Once it keeps plunging, even more people are going to panic and sell, so that daily rate will be accelerated quickly.

That's the Dow. Nasdaq will probably be up a few points, as will S&P. Those who were dumping have dumped. Now every waits and sees. Trump will probably announce some "deals" next week that will cause modest gains. I'd say the markets will be up 1-2% for the week, then stagnation for a few months. I don't see another big drop unless Trump does something else stupid. There might be another drop in late April if Carney wins in Canada and goes hard to align with Europe, which seems likely.

It has everyone still slumping but of course this isn't the big investors. This is the Robinhood folks... I believe, anyway.

The market could move up but it's not really the point. The volatility is going to be crazy. Everything is going to get rebalanced and no one knows what to rebalance it at. Chump swears no changes and then says there will be negotiations so how do you source anything. He's gutted the market... gutted it and it may go up here and there but this is going to circle the drain.

It might be done free falling but it's not remotely done rolling over the hill. This is going to be an unbelievable economic event. Unbelievable and there's really no stopping the fall... we're going over. And Captain Ahab doesn't listen to anything...

... Investors lost more than $6 trillion Thursday and Friday as stocks sank on President Trump's sweeping new tariff plan.

Major investors like hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman fear markets could be dire on Monday if Trump doesn't do something beforehand to ease up on the trade levies ...

"The tariffs are coming. He announced it and he wasn't kidding. The tariffs are coming, of course they are," Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said on CBS's "Face the Nation" ...

"Americans who want to retire right now, Americans who have put away for years in their savings accounts, I - I think they don't look at the day-to-day fluctuations of what's happening," Bessent said ...

Rest of the world is trying to figure out how to approach the Mad Clown King proclamations. Once they figure it out and disseminate that info, everything will smooth out. They know he's temporary, but given the country has elected him twice, I doubt we become as prominent as we once were. Damage is done. We had a good run as an economic superpower.
