The republicans won’t do them and with congress in session even democrats can only do them once in awhile now.

4. Price increases aren't the worry. SS has COLAs.

The worry is that the little feller will sell the dummies on the idea of not taxing Social Security. "Look what I got, Dems! Derp!" Meanwhile, they're hastening the emptying of the trust fund. Republicans are "helping" the people on Social Security by burning its money today instead of tomorrow.
