What's to stop blue states from gerrymandering the fuck out of their districts too?

My answer to that is state law and our willingness to enforce it... which Republicans use to their advantage when they bring lawsuits in blue states. It's not all blue states, but it's enough to make a difference.

NY is the perfect example of a blue-state gerrymander being successfully challenged in state court by Republicans using NY state law heard by judges appointed by Democrats.

I would love to say my home state of Florida likes to enforce it's anti-gerrymandering and voting rights provisions in the state constitution... but the Florida Supreme Court says that those provisions in the state constitution somehow violates the federal constitution so they can't be enforced in the state.
