I get the impression that with the exception of Bondi and Leavitt, most of the other staff and cabinet members hate him and each other. The kind of people who's marriages are shams, their kids hate them, no real friends ever. They bond with each other over their shared greed and their hatred and jealousy of other people.

Also in Washington there's military staff who oversees lowering and raising the flag. Not sure why they let the flag touch the ground. Even if it's a mechanical system and it failed, they should never have let the flag hit the ground. Very strange. Of course, however in these says you can't tell what's been fabricated.

I also hear crime scene tape has been wrapped around the perimeter by protestors. A giant hole still is gaping open where the East Wing was connected and demolished by him.

The Rose garden would still be there, but the obscenely large flag pole in the back he had put in (one of two--the other in the front) isn't perfectly straight. I think the picture shows this. Maybe it was too big and interfered with helicopters as you suggested, or the rigging failed--he often hires shady companies.

that the flag is used for Photo ops, like the one of him humping it on stage.

I also imagine that he already has people covertly working on a NEW flag design for The U.S. One that says United Corporations of America, or better yet, just a large one with his face on it.....

He wanted AirForceOne to have an outside color scheme of Horizontal stripes, Blue-White-Red, much like the Russian flag, so maybe he will just re-arrange the order of the stripes so it doesn't exactly match the order of the colors on Russia's flag, like he was forced to do on AirForceOne........

Richard I (Richard the Lionhearted) had been returning from the crusades, when he was captured and held for ransom by Henry VI. His brother John Lackland conspired with Phillip II of Anjou to extend his captivity, until he was eventually freed by the efforts of Eleanor of Aquitaine. Returning to England, he confronted John, who begged for mercy even as he continued to conspire with Philip. Richard, believing his brother had returned, left again for the crusades, only to be seiged in Anjou where he eventually died of a crossbow wound that became gangrenous, and with that John became King. John was hated and despised by most of those in power, with the Barons in England eventually rising against him and forcing him to sign the Magna Carta, which significantly weaked his authority (he would later renege on it, which launched the country into civil war. He managed to lose a significant amount of the Crown Jewels fleeing through the swamps near Lincolnshire (modern Lincoln), and would eventually die of dysentary. He was not mourned by many.

John was cruel, petty, arbitrary, and dishonest; he was also notoriously stupid, though he believed himself quite intelligent. He was constantly scheming, and most of those schemes blew up in his face. Parliament, which was established by the Magna Carta, came about primarily to prevent future abuses by monarchs like him. He is widely considered to be one of the worst monarchs of English history.

He was a lot like Trump.

Just now realizing that things aren’t working out like you planned?

- You’re not the new “king of the universe” like you expected to be.
- You’re surrounded by criticism, bad publicity, and people you can’t trust because they have their own agendas and they see your growing weakness. (Hell, EVERYBODY’S starting to see THAT!)
- You’re feeling your age - watching yourself sliding steadily (and often painfully) downhill, health-wise. (By now, EVERYBODY can see that, too!)
- And your wife would much rather stay in New York than be by your side, gazing at you with worshipful eyes (like Nancy Reagan always looked at Ronnie all the time). Your “marriage” is nothing but a PR front by now. And you can’t hide that or lie about it effectively anymore, either!

Even your own body is starting to rebel against you. It’s not allowing you to lie your way back to invincibility anymore, much less even halfway-decent health. How many meds does it take, every day, to keep you propped up, by now?

And politically, the best strategists and planners are already considering who’s next. It’s becoming a common and widely-accepted truth: that YOU’RE the one whose time is running out.

Nothing lasts forever, donald. Not even you. And deep-down, I suspect you’re starting to realize it’s unavoidable, much as you wish it isn’t.

The Helms-Burton Act was being trotted out with much attempted fanfare, including fingers wagging in Canada's face for having the temerity of dealing with Cuba, as if Cuba were a real country. Or something. Anyway, a CBC commentator had this reply.

"He is a decrepit old dinosaur that should be strapped to a gurney."

I'm not sure if either Helms or Burton were big fans of Freedom Of The Press in that moment. At least, not in the case of Canadian press.
