These mirror world “authenticity” battles (“I am an authentic Nazi! Not an establishment Nazi like you!”) are wryly amusing.

I am familiar with the left version in say tech criticism since I support this tech journalist Yasha Levine who has to crowd source for a legitimate documentary on tech’s sleazy malice versus a blatantly bogus “ai safety” thing headed up by a sleazy turd like Max Tegmark, bankrolled by that ketamine addled dimwit Musk.

Of course I found Levine or DU because of the net. I used to use to waste time online, but now cautiously see a very unlikely point in it sans that enthusiastic rubbish (“Arab spring was because of Twitter!“ No it wasn’t). Enthusiasm is a tool of the devil.

Some honest academic scientist in CS or cryptography should work on that paradox. How to use any damn thing to degrow this junk not promote it. Feel free to not wear a hoodie either!

Maybe it’s because I am a very unfashionable person, but I never understood how aesthetics and phony bumper sticker liberalism or even more hypocritically “wokeness”, coupled with hardright real world actions could be so confusing to people. I usually go straight to League of Conservation Voters or Women Voters or the Humane Society or even Wikipedia to see how a politician votes or what someone does and to follow the money.

Of course I am not American (which warms the heart of my creepy former employer since they wouldn’t want people like me to have a vote wrt anything that affected my life in any serious way) but I am interested in American politics.
