Which televised New Year's bash

are you watching tonight (if any)?
We'd usually switch between several, but this time almost exclusively Dick Clark's New Year's show (with Seacrest) because of its lineup, diversity, inclusion, and energy,

and expanded locations, like Las Vegas and that U.S. citizen island MAGAs called "garbage."

Yesterday

The young acts on Dick Clark all suck. Meanwhile KTLA rolling out 80s acts. Enjoying it way more. Modern music scene is so dead, it's depressing.

senior citizen who started paying attention back circa "British invasion"" and after. Depends on your preferences I guess, though TBH my musical tastes have always been rather eclectic. Of late I've managed to find some interesting little ditties on Sirius' Alt Nation, and 1st Wave.

Anyway, ABC will also be airing Hall of Fame induction show, tonight I think.

... over the last 2 or 3 years it got progressively harder to catch sight of the ball dropping. Last night as soon as midnight struck, the camera switched from the not-yet-dropping ball to faces in the crowd. No more ball. Did any other stations show the dropping ball??????

But it switched away to people, confetti, fireworks etc. at the precise zero hour. They don't waste any time jumping right into Sinatra's song though, do they?
