Hats off the the selection committee they really know their stuff. I'm a little biased my Dad graduated from there and he passed away. He was in the same class as Phil Donahue high school (St. Eds Lakewood Oh) and N.D.

(2,174 posts)I wonder how many of my California federal income tax dollars end up subsidizing their football program? Theyre a welfare state. They shouldnt be able to sell candy or chips in their stadium if their SNAP beneficiaries cant buy the at a grocery store.

(31,138 posts)This is the team that bought the players, the most portal players of anyone, best players oil can buy.
Texas Tech's best win was against Utah, it lost to Arizona State.
Texas tech averaged 32 points per game except when it played against some competition.

(29,828 posts)I think Arizona State still had Leavitt before the injury and the Sun Devils are a different team with Leavitt & Tyson in the lineup. Before and after that game Texas Tech rarely trailed though during the season.
I wouldn't knock the conference though as Texas only won it 4 times in 30 years and they are deeper are more known for defense since adding the Pac 12 teams. Outside of UCF & Colorado there really wasn't any easy games.
Every team buys players. Hell they always have its just legal now.
Texas Techs best win was over BYU (twice), a borderline top 10 team, both times blowouts.

(537 posts)As a lifelong Notre Dame fan the fact Alabama was beaten down gave me so much pleasure. Figure the countdown for the Bama coach to be fired is in full effect.
