(4,143 posts)But me and a group of friends did flip off GWB's motorcade once back in the day.
Some photo facts:
The funeral for Oliver Otis Howard, founder of Howard University was held in the church pictured (less auspicious, he also secured the surrender of Chief Joseph).
The second Ben & Jerry's location was located across from the church.
The last place I lived in Burlington was right around the corner from the church.
The crowd is pictured a block from where I was was once hit by a car. I was fine.

(14,620 posts)I have friends/ chef and his family that were there...
Do you think even folks from Montpelier came as well? My son went to culinary school there, NECI....we would visit there every few months as we are in Ohio...I love Vermont.

(4,143 posts)That totally looks like a crowd from far and wide to me.
For some reason, NECI closed in 2021. One of their more famous grads (aside from your son) is Alton Brown, Food Network character and chef.
I used to be a server and bartender at a restaurant, the 5 Spice Cafe where I'd wait on a couple who were instructors at NECI. Nicest people. They invited me and some friends to dine there. Went for a nice brunch and we got the VIP tour of the facility.
