"Melania" sequel announced -- "Donald Jr." coming next year

Because of the incredible theatrical attendance to the premiere Friday of the film "Melania," a documentary sequel, "Donald Jr.," will follow next year, Trump press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced breathlessly to members of the White House press corps today.

"This will be the biggest and most spectacular movie since Charlton Heston's "Ben-Hur," she said at a quickly called news conference in the White House. "We want to blow the horn on Donald Jr.'s many accomplishments and a big-screen film is the way to do it."

Leavitt said the production will include new interviews with Trump and his siblings. A special Donald Trump Jr. popcorn bowl will be given to the first 1 million theater goers who pay for a special Pop Goes the Weasel ticket, which will be priced $35 higher than other tickets.

When reporters told Leavitt that "Melania" was the biggest bomb in movie history, Leavitt said, "Where did you hear that? The legacy media? Was Fox the only station that got the story correct that the response to 'Melania' was 'unbelievable'? Jessie Watters nailed it, saying, "Grifters and hookers are people, too!" 'Melania' was just incredible! I'm going back to see it five more times tomorrow. It's going to win every Oscar it gets nominated for."

As they did for "Melania," Amazon, Netflix, Disney, and Paramount are expected to bid for the rights to "Donald Jr." and it's rumored that CBS News may also enter the bidding war for film rights.
