(28,487 posts)Prices here are up within hours , and up again the next day
no deliveries in between .
Prices arent set by the delivery price , but by the current market price .
I realize its supposed to be the way you describe , but the reality is its not .

(31,261 posts)It's an anomaly for sure, but I was so happy. Now that doesn't mean prices weren't jacked up to $2.99 and $3.09 at other stations, but this one little station in the middle of nowhere was still at the "lower" price. My greatest hope is that they didn't water it down! So far, so good.

(97,801 posts)Day after his war it went up 6 cents and another 6 today. As I drove to the market two towns away and checked the prices it is a bit higher.
It's not horrible yet, however it is going to keep going up.
TRUMP DID THIS ON TOP OF OUR SKYROCKETING GROCERY PRICES!

(5,545 posts)I didn't check the price because my vehicle is in the shop and I didn't need to fill up the rental.

(156,668 posts)But they're not. I'm lucky to be driving an electric Audi. I'm told that it will pay for itself in a couple of years.
No smog checks, no fuel or oil costs. It adds up. Plus they help clean the air.
There are so many electric cars in the LA area that our air is measurably cleaner.
The market for electric cars is getting more active, with more cars on the road, plus more charging stations.

(2,058 posts)The cost of everything that must be transported is going to go up. You may not pay anything at the pump but if you have to buy food, clothing etc. You will not be immune for long.
