US Navy tells shipping industry Hormuz escorts not possible for now

The Trump Administration failed to plan for Iran closing the Strait of Hormuz. They also failed to fill the Strategic Petroleum Reserve prior to their “Excursion” in Iran. Now, they say they can’t escort tankers thru the Straits.

We could have had better planning from the Marx Brothers.

I assume, due to the fact Iran is 6,200 miles west of California, they would be launched from a ship. Not a problem as they can be launched from thd back of a truck.

The ship wouldn’t have to be an Iranian Naval vessel. Any old freighter with a foreign registry would do.
