who have disgraced and degraded the offices, it is the rank and file AUSAs who have been doing the grunt work. This comment is spot on. More people need to hear that and say that. It is a whole generation/cohort of low level DOJers who have eroded the trustworthiness and legitimacy of the government's position in any and every court case going forward.

Every day they go into court and lie and misrepresent and dissemble in service of the political appointees and the Dotard. In doing so they violate their duties to the court. That is a choice they made, and make every day. Nobody is forcing them to do that.

I know, I know, it is easy for someone on the sidelines to say "why don't you resign or get fired?" when it isn't your paycheck on the line.

Nonetheless, this is how they have acted, what they have done to their everlasting shame, and deserve to have it hung over their heads.
