Wow. This is a terrific half-hour with Scaramucci

On a podcast with Blumenthal and Wilentz.

He makes some excellent observations, one in particular about Vance.

"Reformed" grifters.
They understand the various motivations and weaknesses of their fellow humans well enough that if they weren't so greedy or selfishly ambitious - and truly honest with themselves - they could be a force for significant progress.
As it is now, they are good for pointing out flaws.

Ya, he's got a new grift going. But he's still an astute predator.

... the Constitution did not fail. We citizens failed. Our leaders failed. The Constitution isn't failing us, our leaders are failing to follow the Constitution. We are failing to keep our leaders on the track.

He says that many of us are failing, especially the media and Congress. Given who it is, I thought it was a great interview.

... 10 or 11 days in the White House in 2016. Nobody left or right gave a hoot on his opinions after his boot in 2016. Where's his voice been the last nine or ten years in his struggle to develop some sort of relevance? Now that Trump is FINALLY going down he jumps in. After MT Greene did a year ago.

That said, he said a lot I absolutely agree with, most of what he said was right on.

6. Great inside take on Trump wanting to destroy everyone that he used to get where he is. He probably had Epstein arrested

He was President in 2019. Now that he's in his second term and not doing well and he knows he's going to be dead soon he wants to destroy everyone around probably with the exception of Ivanka and Baron. And yes, he hates Vance, Rubio, he'll turn on Hegseth, Wiles, and Blanche eventually too.

He doesn't care if there's a nuclear war. He almost dead. In his mind, as long as he had more money than anyone else when the world as we know it ended, he wins.
