while on my to grocery shop where I paid 30% more for the usual weekly items. This is insane. On top of that, my medical insurance went up $90/month. While these cost may not affect the affluent very much, the rest of America has to be freaking out. The rich are getting richer while the rest of us get the finger.

(13,420 posts)there were a Gulf, Esso, Sunoco, and Texaco stations battling out gas prices on each corner of a city intersection. It was nuts.

(12,876 posts)Almost $7.00 for diesel. The downtown dining districts are becoming ghost towns as folks opt to stay home and save gas. The bus and rail system has seen a steep upsurge in ridership. Its 'frogs in boiling water' times. Our society is so highly dependent on cheap gas that a seismic change is inevitable. And think, 3 more years of Trump!
