Russia is pouring everything it's got into this. The subway where people shelter is unstable.

I can't help but feel responsible for this because of the US's passive acceptance of Russia's violence. Prayers for Ukraine to survive the night with as few casualties as possible.

4. Onnce again, no warheads on the reentry vehicles

While one of those things coming in at supersonic speeds will do damage all on its own, it could have been much worse.

This seems to have been a test of targeting these things, the empty warheads going off in different directions on reentry. Why test them on your own missile range when there's a country your dimwit dictator wants to destroy? Since they only produce half a dozen or so of these rockets a year, I can think of no other reason to squander one in this way.

Worse is the large rocket and drone attack ongoing on Kyiv. Those things are carrying explosives.
