WTAF ?!?

https://heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/june-12-2026

For the first time, the board alleged that “The Bylaws of The Trump Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Foundation state, unequivocally,” that the board must strip all funding from the Kennedy Center unless Trump’s name stays on it. Dye notes: “If the bylaws were amended, they were amended since Judge Cooper issued his order—prob[ably] yesterday. This is the Board choking off funds and saying ‘you have to let us break the law, or we’ll lose all the funds.’

That would mean no neo-fascist/Nazi performances, and the Board doesn't get paid.

That would be sad, truly.

whose contract is tied to the Kennedy Center, will not be paid. And it's not like the musicians can just get another job. So no, it would not be good if the Kennedy Center closed for a couple years.

Trump Kennedy Center Board Unanimously Approves Landmark Renovation

March 16, 2026

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Donald J. Trump and John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts Board of Trustees voted unanimously to temporarily close the Center for a comprehensive revitalization project. Following an Independence Day Celebration, the Center will close for approximately two years, with a Grand Re-Opening to follow.

Center’s accounts.

If the board declares that the bribes given by those donors seeking to curry favor from Fat Donnie, so be it. The money for maintenance comes from Congress, although I’m sure Ric Grenell and his cronies have worked to siphon off as much as they were able.

Meanwhile, the National Opera is suing to get their endowment back.

Bylaws of the Trump Playbook:
1. Every election I don't win is null and void, and my opponent cheated.
2. Every rule and law I don't like is to be completely ignored, and there can be no legal or financial penalties levied against me.
3. I'm always correct in everything said or done.
4. See above.

Feel free to add your own bylaw to the above list.

Justice matters.

If you want to be admired, Donnie, do something admirable.

All this ballroom, arch, reflecting pool and building naming is a civilian version of stolen valor.

How are the bylaws of some oddly named foundation relevant to the Kennedy center? I would think that the bylaws of the Kennedy center for the performing arts foundation would be far more relevant to the topic at hand.

Far as I am aware,
