14-year-old boy, father dead after argument, gunshots in north Alabama home: Sheriff
A 14-year-old boy and his father were found dead of gunshot wounds on Christmas Eve following an argument in a north Alabama home, authorities said.
Madison County sheriff’s deputies responded to a possible domestic call with shots fired around 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Bermuda Lakes subdivision in Meridianville, the sheriff’s office said.
The caller, identified as a 16-year-old girl, said she heard an argument between her brother and her father in a bedroom in the home followed by what she thought were gunshots.
The girl was no longer in the home when authorities arrived, the sheriff’s office said.
“We went ahead and made entry into the home and we found both [victims] deceased with gunshot wounds in the same room,” the sheriff’s office said.
