It has been quite obvious to us and the rest of the world that the republicans are hateful, greedy, ignorant, mother fuckers, who appear hell bent on destroying not only this country but the entire fucking planet.

My main idea of a government is not one that tries to be the best, but to stay out of the way. Shame so many other idiot republicans only want a government that restricts what they dont like. I dont want legislation against gay marriage, abortion, or marijuana. I believe it is up to the individual to decide these things. I want my old party back! theres no need for rick santorum here, i hate his guts, he does not speak for me

Not always friend. We used to stand for liberty, but it seems as if mainstream treatment of ron paul is what to expect from them. They say they want smaller government, but only want a government to restrict what they dont like!!!! Todd akin, mitt romney, Rick santorum, none of them are the party so many of us want! social conservatives will be our death!!!!

They have shown that they are too stupid to know what they like or don't like.

We all want smaller government. As in get out of my house, my vagina, and my business. We want to keep and restore governments regulations and restrictions on the mega corporations who want only to make another billion and don't give a shit how many people need to die for it. We want our bridges to be passable. We want our shampoo to not rot our hair. We want our medications to not kill us.

But only a fool wants to tax the people while giving his own taxes up to supplement the mega corporations so they can buy another congressman to make another law to fuck over the people while building the billionaires coffers larger.

Your teabillies don't seem to know what they want. They only know what corporate fox convinces them they want. What mother fucking fools. And how long did you keep watching and believing fox?

The people here can be hard to take at times, but they come up with the funniest greatest stuff on any topic that can be found anywhere, in my opinion.

Fiscally and economically, i probably wont agree with much. But my party has taken the wrong road socially, and i admit that you liberals are much better at it. Im very socially liberal, but economically im republicans. But i refuse to vote for a party taking the rights away from others

To me that only means corporate welfare. They seem to want to be frugal on people feeding their family or not dying from disease most likely caused by the lacking corporate regulations, but want to give freely of our money to those same corporations.

I would rather my taxes feed the hungry and provide health care for all of us than to provide assistance to the billionaires.

I think they have been fooling you and your party for a long time. They have made you think corporations getting your taxes is a-ok, while all people who find it difficult to survive should just be left to die. I mean, after all, the poor little banksters and war machines need more money. They only cleared several billion in profits. We need to help them get along.

When someone in your family dies because they didn't go to a doctor because they couldn't afford the hundred bucks to go get a prescription, or maybe they will get cancer from the monsanto type food modifications. (or any other medical condition that is caused by the corporate greed) Maybe then you would understand. Maybe when it's your own family. Then maybe, you will think that this country should be ran by the will of the people and not the will of the corporations.

from the democrats but you leave the social path open. What I think you are missing is that at some point all these points converge.

Social responsibility for the less fortunate members of our society costs money. Money that has to be spent with no expectation of return on investment, other than our obligations as a society to care for all our citizens. Is that something a fiscal conservative support? How does your view on economic conservatism line up with the Obama administration view that we must commit to stimulus spending to ward of a recession. This is in contrast to the republican view that only tax cuts for the job creators (aka the top 2%) can get us out of the mess that was caused by the last tax cut we gave them.

However, whatever you views, I appreciate your willingness to come here and discuss these issues. This type of conversation has been missing for the national dialogue. Thank you.

No religion in politics. Fiscal sanity. acceptance and tolerance. A government not run by people who dont have our best interests at heart. I love cory booker the democrat, hes a great person who cares. I'd vote for him. I admire Marco rubio, the republican. he keeps faith out of it. He speaks for the portion of the tea party that only speaks of fiscal responsibility, not social dictatorship. I look down on the so-cons. they have no place in this. they can keep their faith, just dont campaign with it, or deny other peoples rights with it.

Oh, wait, no.

You obviously had no problem during the years when your party was, er, IS, overrun with racist, fascist, hatefilled, cruel, Greedy Old Pigs claiming their superiority over everyone else, including the educated, scientists, teachers, police and firefighters.

You bought into the whole mess. For years.

Yes, we offer redemption, forgiveness, all the things religion used to offer. But, honestly, why should you get off easy, with this very late "realization?"
