1. For people not seeing the credit card button!

I just figured that one out!

Even though I am a member and don't need to use Adblock on this site, it defaulted to be on.

When I couldn't see the credit card button I had an epiphany to turn off my Adblock, and there it was!!

But I did receive them and have already bestowed all of them to my fellow DUers!

5. Well now I am flummoxed.

I tried to do it with the Adblock on and it didn't work the same way....the credit button showed up.

But originally, turning off the Adblock worked.

Or maybe it was just a coincidence. Oops. My username says that can't be it.

How do I know if I have hearts to give. I’m not sure how this works.

7. If you are a monthly subscriber you should have some hearts to give out

Check the bottom of any post, and there should be a link which says "Give a heart..." The link will also tell you the number of hearts you have remaining. To give a heart, just find a post by the person you want to give a heart to and click that link.

If you're a monthly subscriber and that link is telling you that you have to buy hearts, please send me a message to let me know and I'll look into it.

11. I have uBlock Origin

By the time I thought to disable it, I was at the page to take the credit card info so I didn't bother disabling. Redirected back to DU afterwards.

Checked my "Star Membership Page" and it was showing expiration in 1 day. Found this announcement thread, read it, checked again and I had DU mail and an expiration date of next year. Took less time to show up than it took to type this.

If I renewed my star some months back, then I just need to buy hearts, is that right? I think I misunderstood this last year.

You either have to be a monthly subscriber, or purchase/renew your Star Membership while the fund drive is going on (ie. this week) to get hearts.
