What Did Arnold Palmer's Privates Have to Do with Presidential Politics? Shameful...

"What did Palmer's privates have to do with presidential politics? Shameful does not even cover it." Daily Kos, Oct. 20, 2024. (404 Recs, 318 Cmts).

I love women but I talk about men's ding a ling and how big it is.
--------
How in the world can any so called God fearing person vote for a man who gets up in front of the world and talk about a dead man’s dick?

The media can call it out and say genitalia and other dancing words but the plain truth is Arnold Palmer was a golfer and a dead man and I have no idea how his family felt about talking about Palmer’s privates to the world but I would sue the hell out of him if that was my Daddy or brother they were talking about in the showers. Sue would be the nicest thing I would do to him.

Do rational people know how trashy that makes America look? I will call that talk out to every person who talks to me about who they are supporting. So should all of us.

Trash… Pure trash. Disrespectful and total off the rails...

and I am both amazed and appalled at the deterioration of civility and decency that I have witnessed in our society during my lifetime. Call me old fashioned, or even Victorian, but it's truly repulsive and lamentable.

Thanks for the post. In some areas I'm more traditional as well, unrelated to religion.

The lack of civility, a sense of decency and humility, and just the all-round "mean-ness" of the republican party is mind-blowing to me. I know, on their own, people are generally good. But damn, get them into groups of two or more, and they're blood-thirsty. I absolutely do not like living in this time... and I'm not at all "traditional" in any way, shape, or form... except that I believe in helping where I can help and not tearing someone down just for kicks. To me, that's our "traditional"... and it has been since the 60's. We were intent on building a world of diversity and tolerance back then... and we never gave up on it. I'll be damned if I let the last of these generational outcasts make me give it up.
