Rallies accomplish little to nothing, except making us feel like our voices matter.
I'm sure there will be rallies once people start getting deported, and they'll continue with their Project.

But canvassing and phone banking is hard work.
I am willing to bet none of these people ever did anything to stop Trump in the first place.

I knocked on doors for Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire during the primary in 2016 in Exeter. Donald Trump was in town when I was there. I saw some people going to a protest. I suggested to them that if they wanted to stop Trump from becoming president, volunteering for Hillary or Bernie would be a more effective use of their time. They looked at me like I had six heads.
