Opinion - Trump 2.0: How many days before he loses momentum?

(The Hill) The Wall Street Journal recently featured a line from the “Karate Kid” movie to describe President-elect Trump’s agenda for his first 100 days in the White House: “Strike Hard, Strike First, No Mercy.”

That means on day one, Trump wants GOP majorities in the House and Senate voting to lower taxes, cut spending, increase border security and end subsidies to promote clean energy.

But as boxer Mike Tyson once put it, “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.” The punch that is already rattling the Trump agenda is the jolting fear of immediate failure.

This inaugural address will be Trump's long-awaited thumb in the eye to all the people he feels slighted him over the last four years. His 2017 "Carnage" speech will seem like a bouquet of roses compared to the dark, violent threats he'll make this time around. Trump's advisers won't be be able to contain him.

In the demented Turd's mind that includes just about everyone, doesn't it? I'm not at all sure some of his family members could escape his evil gaze on that count.

He is, without question, the most thin skinned and immature being I've ever encountered. Omitting the "human" before "being" was NOT an omission by accident. I've seen no empirical evidence he's a human being. 😉

How far he bends over for Putin
How much foreign allies are willing to put up with.
Will the deportations REALLY focus on the criminals? Will they have ANY actual success with it?
How will the business community react to the next 6 months?
Will he really be stupid enough to try to charge people like Schiff & Cheney??

and has been in the news everyday for the past 8+ years. Now, he is really on a roll.......

The only thing that will stop him from going Hyper-Trump is if, the day after inauguration if the house does the 25th amendment thing, and the Senate joins in..........

Otherwise it will be mayhem with every RepubliCON Politician and every corporation going into warp speed to try and engage WarpDrive for their particular agenda.......

There has never been a time like this before...............The RepubliCONs have worked long and hard for this moment and will not back away in the slightest, this time around.............

He will find out once at the oval office desk, that governments move slowly and his planned instant takeover and destruction of Democracy isn't a smooth process.

All it needs is some Trump appointees to show how incompetent and unprepared for their jobs they really are, and Dems to fold their arms and say 'No you can't!'

Tonight, On Ari Melber's The Beat, Trump's favorability rating is 41%.

That compares to George Bush's 49% in December before his second term and Obama's 57% in December before his second term.

They better vote in lock-step against Trump's destructive agenda. No reaching-across-the aisle bullshit. Absolutely NO compromising.

If Hakeem Jeffries attempts to appease Republicans and help Trump force his toxic agenda on us, then Democrats in the House should revolt against him.

Now we're going to find out for sure if we live in an oligarchy that controls both Republicans and Democrats.

Democrats had better not make nice with fascism or the Democratic Party will be completely finished.

He originally thought of Elon as a rich rube, but Elon is buying his way into the government, and pushing his own ideas, most of which agree with Trump's. But Trump will not let Elon steal the limelight, so Trump is going to forget all the promises he made and forget his agenda. Trump will get nothing done, and the GOP is already a mess.
