... of Alice Brock's passing. When I lived in southern Berkshire County many, many moons ago, I dined in all three of her restaurants, and had occasion to meet her a few times, though I doubt she'd remember one of a group of boisterous young men.
Legend has it that she had wanted to call her second restaurant out on 183 west of Stockbridge, Mass, Eat Out Alice, but they wouldn't let her, so Take-Out Alice it came to be.
I hope she passed peacefully.
