(15,169 posts)It's how they lose, week after week. How Eberflus keeps his job is beyond me.

(72,137 posts)The Bears have almost never fired a coach in season.
Not that there's any hope he'll be around next year, but I doubt he gets fired before season's end.
But geez, a different way to lose a close game every week, it seems. But, they finding ways to lose.
Besides, none of this matters if they hadn't put up a gooseegg in the 1st half. They were dreadful the entire 2 quarters.

(72,137 posts)Or WMVP, not sure which station I was listening to at the time.
I'm really shocked because the last time the Bears had a head coach not finish a season was 1942. That was George Hakas, who stepped down to go to WW2!
I was wrong, but I'm not any less surprised.

Sorry, CincyDem, but dang, we long-suffering Lions fans are in shock this season.

(7,055 posts)I went up for the playoff game vs the Rams in January…damn was it f’ing cold.
Honestly, I’m probably more of a Lions fan than Bears…but ya can’t ignore a loss like this. David Montgomery is a local kid from a couple miles up the street so it never hurts to root for him.
