My U8 basketball team is undefeated and winning every game convincingly. I would be shocked if we didnt win our last 2. Not to brag, I just got assigned good players. Im not taking much credit for this.
Anyway, here is the question: I think it would be nice to have a memento of an undefeated season. So I was thinking of getting them some medals. Actual metal with a picture of a basketball and a hoop on it off Amazon for $12 for a set of 12. I wondered if this would be inappropriate or nice for the kids?

(17,045 posts)Of team spirit, good sportsmanship, a collaborative efforts can often produce winning results. A nice thing for a young man to remember and reflect upon as days go by. Hopefully some of these young men have bonded closely so their friendships will last decades.

I thought we would do pretty good with my son and his two friends who are good players but we got assigned two other total killers so its been really easy coaching this bunch to victory.
