What was interesting, decades back I visited Georgia- Decatur, Athens area.

I noticed the sun set about 1/2 hr later than NYC. Eventually looking at a map - I realized it was halfway towards the next [Central] Time Zone.

So geophysically it made sense. Must be weird getting quite close to the next TZ and having your time still be in your zone yet setting much closer to the same time as the next one.

I hope I explained that right!

My favorite time is late May to about mid August where the un sets between 8PM to 8:30PM then back to 8PM. The looong light of late-Spring thru mid-Summer. 🥰
