(20,892 posts)I only had a few quibbles with it, but not enough to stop me from watching it all a second time (except the fly in the lab episode, I skipped most of that one).
I usually avoid series or movies that are all violence. I've had to make a few exceptions, and Breaking Bad is one. It would be difficult to find a good series that /doesn't/ have violence in it.
Breaking Bad is so well done. Even with the violence. All the characters (the DEA Brother-in-Law), all the various story lines. I liked the Writing, Production, and Acting!
Another one I re-watched recently was The Sopranos. Brilliant and quality. But here we go again, lots of violence. I still watched it.

(20,892 posts)I binged it almost a decade after it wrapped up. It felt dated (like the cellphones they used) but the plotlines timeless in many respects.
Also in my top three is The Wire? Ever watch that one? Season two is such a departure from the premiere season, but it all comes together in the end.

(3,917 posts)I generally lean towards Sci-Fi/Fantasy (avoid films with violent titles). Not a lot out there right now outside of Dune Prophesy.
(Which is Great!!!)

(11,092 posts)Vince Gilligan picked that Badfinger song for the ending.
And, it was a superb choice.
