so he always took it seriously. Being a little underweight isn't a bad thing - its easier on one's joints.
He's given up drinking and drugs, and eats a healthy diet. And basically, I think he has never stopped moving.

I think a lot of it was media speculation, which he encouraged as part of his bad boy image.

The truth is he's lived a very healthy life, physically at least. But that reputation Durant sell records.

I went to a Stones concert to do photography for the paper a few years back. It was in Philadelphia. I was in the orchestra pit for two songs. I felt like I was covering a basketball player. He was running back-and-forth on what seemed to be 100 foot stage so fast. Fortunately he stopped right in front of me for a few seconds and I got a decent shot with the lights going. He was as tough to cover as a soccer game.

they live much longer than the average person, and it's attributed at least in part to regular, strenuous upper-body movement.

The phenomenon has long been studied and marveled at — or just envied. A simple, but not complete, reason cited in a Metropolitan Life Insurance study, which showed that orchestra conductors live 38 percent longer than the general population, was that conducting is good cardiovascular exercise.

Upper-body fitness programs claim to strengthen heart and lungs, improve posture, flexibility, and balance, reduce pain and stress, aid in weight loss, and raise endorphin levels.

Also, they love what they do, and Mick Jagger clearly does too.

and the young thing working on her was talking about the new tattoo she was planning to get - right along that part of her arm.

My friend told her to think twice about that - then stuck her arm out & shook it. The young one gaped at her in horror. Said friend also suggested she take a look at her mom or aunts just to confirm it happens to us all.

he did have his heart valve replacement done in New York (don't know which hospital).

People in his income bracket don't have to rely on any system, they can afford the best.

that went for almost four hours (counting 20 minute intermission) and would have gone longer but hard and fast 10 PM end time stopped him.

Loving what you do and knowing you have to take care of yourself to keep doing it go hand in hand I guess.
