I’ve never been a consistent writer-downer of things. I take plenty of notes where facts & figures matter, but since childhood, I’ve deluded myself about the abilities of my so-called mighty mind. I’m like at the hardware store, knowing full well that I’ll be back soon to obtain something I’ve forgotten already. I live by the list anymore. Grocery stores are the worst for entering unprepared and unreminded.

Lots of things around my place are mysteries because I didn’t write down what it was, where it is, who it’s for or who it’s from etc.

My reply is always
“Only if you can remember what I came in for”
It goes over most heads, but gets a few chuckles.

grocery store that I forgot the list.

Fortunately, once I have written something down, I usually (but not always) remember it. That's how I used to study for exams in high school and college.

I've learned to put the list into my purse or coat picket as soon as I write it.

A tolerance problem with idiots, has political implications. One such idiot tried to tell me that nothing bad ever happened during TFG's first term.

Beyond that, I'm doing ok at 67 but still haven't figured out what I want to do when I grow up.

I carry a Daytimer with me everywhere “to write stuff Down.” I never act my age. I like the way I “acted” and danced from 68 to 72. I’m on the road everyday walking around town. I know where every public restroom is located.

Thank You for a true yet funny list.

I constantly look at people my age (or even younger) and think, WTF, THEY LOOK SO OLD

helps that I still do not have gray hair
