At least once a day, when I close out a DU post I get a quick notice, I think about accepting something.

I have never been able to read the whole notice because it disappears so quickly. I think one time I was able to click on the "do not accept option" but I'm still getting the notice.

Anyone else getting this?

Thanks for the recommendation, but this only happens when I'm on DU. So don't think it's the browser. Fla Dem Apr 5 #3
Just tried logging in using Duck, Duck, Go and the message popped up right away. Fla Dem Apr 5 #4

I was able to read before it disappeared it was about privacy settings. I looked in "MY DU" Tab and there's nothing about privacy settings.

It's asking if I want to allow DU to sell my stats to other parties. You can choose. I chose to decline but it still comes up and sometimes hides at the bottom of the page. I have to scroll down to see it.

when we still had regulatory agencies that functioned, one of them determined that all websites (or at least all where any money changed hands) had to notify every viewer of their privacy options and give them a way to exercise those options. Some are confusing.

DU has star memberships, so it qualifies as a site where money changes hands.
