is taking a life-threatening risk.

At the vet's, when she gets her claws clipped, they muzzle her first. Then they sedate her. Consequently, what should be a routine, inexpensive treatment becomes an expensive one for me. I think they tack on extra charges to discourage me from bringing her in for claw clipping.

Ember is not their favorite patient. My sweet, affectionate little lady turns into a total monster in the vet's office.

My Figaro does too when it comes to cleaning his pads and trimming his nails. He just acts high all the time, most any other times. Is very sedate. He'll let me do his nails but fights my daughter and the vet.
