Amazing how many truths I learned about this society from this one movie.
I think I’ve watched this one as often as I’ve watched Blazing Saddles- my picks for two great 70s movies that taught me way more than books or lectures.
As an aside Rialto Cinema (early scene from cowboy movie) was downtown and bad boys would sit in the pit and respond . “Star bwoy can't die til the last reel".
That line alone made this a classic.

We learn more about ourselves by the study of others. Truth be told, we’d be the same if born in their shoes. Develops empathy, rather than hate.
