He/she ignored me, started singing, pooped and flew off. None of the feral cats were on the patio at that time.
I think it was a Jamaican pewee. I told a good friend about it and he says its a sign of good luck.

(38,891 posts)Just commiserating about how the birds and squirrels make off with our little urban crops. I have cloche covers and netting on them but the effing squirrels actually pull those off sometimes
